The final fence move surrounding the construction site will be Tuesday, March 8th. The fence will be moved to the south end of the site closing the sidewalk on 12th Street between Race and Elm streets. |

This Week in the Park February 28 - March 4, 2011
- Completed testing of auger cast test pile - test pile passed
- Continued final stages of lagging board installation to 30 feet deep (final depth)
- Continued site grading and layout at the bottom of the hole for the garage foundation work
- Continued site grading of both garage entrance ramps
- Delivered additional drywell materials to the site in advance of drywell installation
- Began mobilization and setup of cranes and drill rigs needed to install drywells
- Continued testing tie-backs along retaining wall

Next Week in the Park
March 7 - March 11, 2011
- Continue 2nd lift of mass excavation to 30 feet deep (final depth)
- Continue lagging board installation to final depth elevation
- Drill and install the first drywell at the south end of the site - test and monitor
- Begin auger cast pile installation - weather permitting
- Move construction fence to final location
- Continue site demolition and layout on the south end of the site
